Around three hundred Scouts gathered at the National Scout Building to celebrate 'Scout Fest 2025' under the powerful slogan "Stop Corruption". Every Scout wore a cap carrying a 'stop corruption' message, filling the Shams Hall of Bangladesh Scouts with youthful energy and determination.
The event began with a flag-raising and the Scouts’ prayer song, and then Scouts joined in a rally, holding placards and banners with anti-corruption messages that echoed their commitment to transparency, good governance, and integrity.
As a key supporting partner, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) played a significant role in amplifying the call for integrity and justice. TIB’s engagement encouraged young Scouts to connect their values of discipline, service, and simple living with the nationwide fight against corruption. In the event, TIB's Executive Director Dr. Iftekharuzzaman led the guests and scouts in taking an anti-corruption oath.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, emphasized that the values upheld by Scouts—discipline, selflessness, and integrity—directly strengthen Bangladesh’s anti-corruption movement. He reminded participants that resisting injustice requires both courage and conviction and urged everyone to reflect on their own role in upholding transparency and accountability.
The program also honored the memory of martyr Scouts of the July 24 movement and those lost in the Milestone College plane crash. High officials from Bangladesh Scouts, along with TIB leadership, joined the celebration, underscoring the importance of nurturing future leaders who embody the spirit of integrity.
The fest concluded with a vibrant cultural program performed by Scouts, carrying forward the spirit of unity and integrity.
