The main objective of this study is to identify the challenges of good governance in the activities of the Forest Department and formulate recommendations to address these challenges.
The specific objectives of the study are to:
- identify the legal and institutional limitations and challenges of the Forest Department;
- identify the types, extent and causes of irregularities and corruption at different levels of the activities of the Forest Department; and
- formulate recommendations to address the challenges of good governance in the Forest Department.
