What We Do

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) is the accredited national chapter of Transparency International, a global anti-corruption organisation. TIB aims to drive a participatory movement against corruption by increasing accountability through improved institutions, laws, and practices.

Research

TIB conducts research to understand the nature and extent of corruption, raise awareness, and promote transparent and accountable governance. TIB's research objectives align with its vision and mission, and the core principles that drive the social movement.

Advocacy

TIB’s advocacy programs aim to catalyse policy change, engage citizens in the anti-corruption movement, and influence government policies. TIB interacts with policymakers and senior government officials to bring about policy reforms.

Citizens Engagement

A key pillar of TIB’s work is in the area of civic engagement spearheaded by the Committees of Concerned Citizens (CCCs) which are local level watchdog groups against corruption.
