TIB calls for execution of Climate Finance commitments made by industrialized countries and transparency and accountability in Climate Funds utilization by all concerned countries including Bangladesh

Scientists believe that an increase in the global temperature by 2-4 degrees Celsius would cause irreversible damage to climate vulnerable countries. Although the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in its 5th Assessment Report in 2014 predicted a rise in global sea levels from 1 to 3 feet by the end of the century, a report by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) in the USA has warned that the sea level would rise as much as 10 feet by the end of this century.
