On 24 December 2025, TIB published a research report titled “Generating Power from Renewable Energy in Bangladesh: Governance Challenges and Way Forward.” The main objective of this study was to analyze the policy framework for generating power from renewable energy in Bangladesh and to identify the key governance challenges in this sector.
Based on the findings of that study, and with the aim of supporting the transition to renewable energy and ensuring good governance in this sector, the following recommendations are proposed for consideration by the relevant authorities and stakeholders.
