MANZOOR HASAN: Obtained his B.Sc. (Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1979; subsequently periods of employment were with BRAC (Bangladesh), Toynbee Hall (England) and the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) (England). After being called to the English Bar and the Bar in Bangladesh he was the founding Manager of the first regional branch of JCWI. In 1990 he had a placement at INTERIGHTS ( the International Centre for the Legal Protection of Human Rights) prior to joining a set of chambers in Birmingham. He was also a member of a London set of chambers. In 1995 M. Hasan returned to Bangladesh and joined Dr. Kamal Hossain's chambers.
