BAWIN-TIB and KWASA sign MoU for promoting transparency, accountability and integrity in the water sector

Bangladesh Water Integrity Network (BAWIN) of TIB and Khulna Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (KWASA), recently signed a MoU for promoting transparency, accountability and integrity in the water sector through capacity development of KWASA. Under the MoU arrangement, the capacity of KWASA will be developed by enhancing its technical knowledge and skills on transparency, accountability and integrity issues for improving service delivery at the community level.
The Bangladesh Water Integrity Network (BAWIN), coordinated by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), is a multi-stakeholder network of water sector institutions at national and sub-national levels including individuals committed to promote integrity in the water sector in Bangladesh through research, campaign and advocacy activities. Berlin based Water Integrity Network (WIN) provides both technical and financial support to BWAIN which will administer the implementation of this MoU.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Executive Director, TIB and Deputy Managing Director (Finance and Administration) of KWASA.
