TIB research: Corruption Database

The NewsScan Corruption Database is a newspaper survey on corruption reports. Corruption stories are frequently published in the newspapers. TIB scans these stories, collects information from the stories, corroborates a sample of them, analyses the accumulated information and releases a report every six months.

The NewsScan database has been adopted as an anti-corruption tool by the TI-Secretariat.
