Soma Surovi Jannat is a meritorious student of 1st year of Drawing and Painting Dept. of Fine Arts of Dhaka University. She is also working as a drawing teacher of Hate Khori. She received many awards in painting and recitation on various Naional and International day from Serov Academy of Fine Arts in Russian Cultural Centre. She secured the 3rd position for painting in 12th Foundation Anniversary of PURBITA, Women’s Artist’s Organization in 2003 and 2nd position in painting for enhancing self-esteem in children, FABER CASTELL in 2002. She has achieved the 1st position in 'Group - A' in the TIB organized Anti-Corruption Cartoon Competition 2008.
